Thanks anyway!

Jeff called me this morning asking if I wanted to go on his spaceship. I told him, thanks anyway, but I'm going for a bike ride!

Smart move.... I assume your ride was longer than the 11 minutes of his.

Money would of been better spent going to a food bank. Now i know why his Ex left him.

Well, that was a dumb thing to do. Turn down a ride into subspace? Couldn't spare a day out of your busy schedule? Wow, how short-sighted! Put me in touch with the guy and I will gladly give up a day and miss a ride to go into "space".
I won't even go into the jobs created and maintained by these ventures. 20 years from now there will be software, hardware, manufacturing, etc. that we will be used in everyday life that spawned from these dirty rotten rich guys that feed their ego trips.
My dad was involved in the Apollo program from the start and he always said to look to the future payoffs from the moon program.

True.. both were sub-orbital.

Ask most people who the first American in space was and they'll say John Glenn. Even though Alan Shepard went up first but was sub-orbital.

“Bozos” may have made a ton of money but his priorities are definitely sub-orbital.

I look at the picture of this crew and just laugh. They don't look to have any business on a space ship

Healthier for you. healthier for the environment.

There is value in technological advancement and job creation. And while some believe the billionaire boys-club members are driven by ego and vanity, they are also putting their money where their mouth is, and literally risking their lives to promote their "brands". That is far different than your classic capitalist who insulates himself from both personal and financial risk, usually at cost to an unsuspecting public.

However I still would prefer a bike ride; an honest bike ride...not like Branson:

It's actually a woman who, when she was much younger, qualified along side men for space flight but was never given the opportunity to go into space. Those opportunities were reserved for men.

Or were you trying to be funny and fell flat?

There will likely be future payoffs from the commercial space programs, but these "gold plated bungee jumps" did no real science... other than to advance the number of successful launch and recovery numbers. These were nothing more than ego strokes for rich guys... and publicity stunts.

28 million bucks could have fixed up many schools that could use it. I use Amazon Prime come on Jeff at least buy me a Whataburger. Wait a ticket costs 28 million. There is free wild weed here that with a few tokes will take you to Mars for free.
