FREE Hercules 3 speed made in England, Davenport Florida

Location: Davenport Florida (southwest of Orlando)

Deadline for pickup: Evening of Tuesday 27 July 2021

FREE Hercules 3-speed made in England, step-thru/ladies model frame, lugged steel, Sturmey Archer internal gear 3 speed hub, cottered steel crank. Black paint is not shiny, faded to matt/flat finish. Needs a complete overhaul. Chain rusty, tires flat and cracked, etc. I'm taking care of my dad's estate, this was parked under the overhang of his 5th-wheel trailer in Florida, out of the rain but a lot of sun and humidity. I'm hoping to find a good home here before placing on Craiglist Free. I'd overhaul it myself but I live across the country and came by plane.

Hopefully the wifi connection here holds up, it's been spotty. I'll login to here once a day to check messages.

Bravo for passing it on and keeping the 3-speed flame alive.

Thanks. Yeah I grew up with a Sears 3-speed from the 1960s, extremely similar looking but made in Austria with a Steyr 3 speed hub. Took it apart when I was 12, took me all winter to get it back together.

No bites and I'm leaving tomorrow so asked neighbor here if he wants it, explained what it needs, he said yes, so it's gone.
