Alternative (shorter) hardware for VO fenders?

Alternative (shorter) hardware for VO fenders?

The bolts that come with these really do hinder clearance once you start to get a close enough gap. What else have you used that looks good and works well?

A combination of Honjo small parts and rivets. The original bolts are fairly low profile compared to the hug VO bolts already but the rivets add another millimeter or two.

Though a tight fit around the fender stays is less critical as you can easily move the fender a little bit further out.
