Waterford RST-22 56cm Intense Red 105 Triple
**SOLD** You are looking at a very lightly used Waterford Precision Cycles RST-22 from 2002, not exactly vintage I know, but it feels like a classic & vintage bike, so I thought posting it here made sense. If not allowed I can move it to another forum. I purchased this and another Waterford from the original owner but unfortunately I can only keep one. This is how it came from the factory in 2002 and as you can see it has seen very little use. The frame main tubes are Reynolds 853 and the fork is Reynolds 531 which rides very nice. The frame measures 56cm CT on seattube and CTC on toptube and features a 10mm headtube extension which gives the rider a more upright ride.
This is built with a full Shimano 105 triple group that was original to the bike and has also seen very little use. Currently this is built with the Nitto MT-10 riser stem and bar end shifters but also includes the original 105 STI shifters. The shifters have a couple scuffs but overall in great shape and still function perfectly. I also have a more traditional stem, if you are looking for a more sporty ride, so let me know which stem you want and I can switch everything out.
The only real signs of use are on the rack and bottle mounting points where some of the paint has chipped off. There are also a couple small imperfections in the paint but overall it really looks like a new bike. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions. Bike will be shipped via FedEx ground and insured for sales value.

Gorgeous red color. Beautiful. Interesting geometry considering the rack mounts...can’t really squeeze fenders in, but it is a sport tourer...

You don't think there's enough room for fenders? Looks to me like there's enough daylight under the calipers/crown and behind the seat tube, even with the 32mm tires on there now, and though the chainstay bridge is a little far forward, it does have a threaded boss underneath for fender mounting. Might have some toe overlap up front, and I know that's a deal breaker for some, but it's not all that unusual with smaller sport-tour frames.
Of course, I could be missing something very obvious...

However, I think it is a very cool bike anyway! Nearly pristine and a gorgeous paint sheen. Bet it is a great ride on rural roads.

There is definitely enough room for fenders, even with the 32mm tires.
