could you remember anything about serial number identification under the bottom bracket ? Mine has 2 letters and 6 numbers ( CS480923 ) and Andrew Muzi of Yellow Jersey bike shop fame guestimates it to be 1984.

Your frame was contract manufactured in Japan during March 1984.

The Limited was preceded by the Japanese-built Super in a similar price range. The Limited has a bit gentler geometry.

Be sure to inspect any used Campy crank purchase for cracks at the arm/spider junction, usually most visible from the top of the arm when the arm points forward.
A suspected crack can be confirmed by it's appearance on the reverse side of the spider.
