Dang...a whole year would be very cool but 338...man, that's GREAT! I agree though, making a 360 goal is pretty unrealistic unless you pack a unicycle with you everywhere just to get in that couple of feet if you need them.

I'm building too. When I started I couldn't run consecutive days and now I am. You're absolutely right, with consistency comes strength!

Being absent-minded paid off today as far as mileage. I left for work this morning and was a little more than 10 miles out when my wife called me and reminded me the new Internet provider was at my house to do the installation, and didn't I say I was going to be home for that? Oops, forgot all about that. It didn't take long to conclude I really should go back and deal with it all, so I did. So, 21 miles in before I even started for work, and 34.3 by the time I got there, not thinking about having to add another 13.9 to get home later (going up and down the stairs at the office was a little difficult today). Even the ride home got stretched because I had to detour a little due to what we in L.A. call "police activity." So 300 for the month is looking less daunting, but I don't often do close to a half-century just to commute.

made my 120 mile Goal for January with 9 total rides at 122 total miles. also walked 33 miles in January

I don't live in cycling friendly community, but I have found some lower trafficked side street routes/side walks to ride and do errands including going to Home Depot, Grocery Store pick ups with a bike trailer, Subway for lunch, etc. I find this gives me more purpose to ride and allows for more 8-12 mile rides during the week vs commuting to the Bike Trail 30 miles each way in a car which I don't tend to do when its cold (cold for me is less than 50). I will ride locally in the low to mid 40's. I prefer the longer trail rides to be in the 50's at least.

Weigh in Tomorrow, 4th week in after an extended holiday hiatus and much regret . Hoping the cumulative weight loss will be around 7 lbs in the 4 weeks which puts me 18 lbs away from my immediate goal of 238 and then 220 after that. I haven't been below 240 in several years and 220 several more than that. The riding and walking is for exercise, I am actually doing WW which pretty much encourages lean meats, fruits, vegetables, basically just real food. I am doing their new version where you get more free foods. Potatoes and corn are actually free for me along with Chicken and Eggs. I find I can eat this way and not feel like its that different than how I normally like to eat. Basically just cut out the fast food, junk, high sodium, sugary and processed foods. I do have some points left over for my beer on occasion too. So far so good.

Mileage goal for February is also 120. Then it ramps up from there as the weather and time to ride increase. mileage goal for 2022 is 2500, logged just over 1600 in 2021

I feel for you @justcynn. After dipping below 230 for the first time in I-don't-remember and buying a pair of pants with a waist size that starts with a "3" for the first time in about that long, Christmas and New Year's took their toll and I gained 8 pounds. Hopefully I will have shed that by the next time I go see my doctor again in two weeks.
