Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Them too! I remember when the Clippers were in San Diego. I saw them play the Lakers in The Forum, sat right under the basket, second row.

What were they saying? It's been their Sunday home game color for years.

Mostly just half jokingly bummed that they didn't win in yellow or purple.

Kick a gimme field goal in the waning moments of a road game to go up by 8? No - why would you do that?

They must have felt the first down would be easy and a touchdown would have put them up by 2 scores. But, yeah, I was surprised.

I knew they were going to go for it, since the vikes had been running right through the hawks defensive line all night long. I didn't think they were gonna fail, but I guess my prayers were answered.

They posted a stat saying going for it and FG attempt yielded the same win %. I think NBC had both at 96%.
ESPN says: The Vikings' chance to win by choosing to go for it was 98%, and it would have been 97.8% had Zimmer chosen to attempt a field goal.

Is it as dark as their literature?

I don't think anyone knows what breed she is, from what I understand she was rescued from a situation with a few other dogs that were all quite malnourished

She's quite skittish and defensive at first, but after about 15 minutes and a handful of treats she decided that I was all right

Aside from Bjork, I'd say these guys are their most well-known export. In my top three best live performances I've ever seen, as well.

Nope. I've never left North America.

I saw them at Chicago's Auditorium Theater.

2/3 of the best concerts I've seen were there. The first being Sigur Ros, the second being David Byrne.
