I used to use a Camelback for a couple years but it was too much weight on my back and shoulders. Bottles are just plain KISS.
That said I might consider a Camelback mounted to my frame in the future.

Thermos or water bottle... I always stop to drink. The reason that I stop is because I am not in a hurry to get to my destination and I am not racing against anybody.

Aquafina water bottles fit my cage perfectly and I can pitch them recycle them if they get nasty looking or dustier than I want to deal with cleaning. Oh, and I stop to drink.

All of the above. Depends on what and where I plan to ride that day. On the hottest, most humid Oklahoma summer days if I plan to ride where there are no options to refill my water bottles, I will wear a CamelBak. Short rides or routes I know I can refill, I have two bottles in a cage and while pulling a bottle from a cage is no problem, I'm not in a hurry so I'll stop somewhere to drink.

2) On my custom frame, the single best decision was having a third set of water bottle mounts added (on the underside of the downtube). This past year, while trying to avoid c-stores, three bottles (750ml) would get me through most rides -- and on longer (60+ miles) rides, they would get me to a public park with a water tap.

With a water glass, filled with the best water from Clermont Kentucky in my experience its the best hydration solution and it all fits in my handlebar bag

Well, I mainly use water bottles, but on longer rides out in the middle of nowhere I take along a hydration pack, especially on hot days. It's not unusual for me to go through both bottles and most of the 2 liter hydration pack on long rides during the summer.
And I don't stop to take a drink unless I'm taking a break or something. Not because I'm in a hurry to get anywhere, but it just seems like a pain in the butt to stop every time I want some water. So I either reach down and grab a bottle or I unclip the hydration pack straw and drink from it.

Your supposed to drink slowly enough so that the fluids warm up inside your mouth and mix with a sufficient amount of saliva before swallowing if you are concerned about hydrating yourself properly.
