Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did you enquire of Litespeed? Doesn't say ready to ship or not, or how long: eg https://litespeed.com/collections/ti...es/products/t5

I doubt there are any US made steel frames that are ready to ship, and thats before addressing the brake style.
Call around to various builders, i guess? Most are custom so having ready to ship frames wouldnt be their style.

If you find something, just buy the components from various sites.

It's interesting what people will focus on. Here's a lower/mid level component ($100 for the pair) that is fully interchangeable with any number of other brakes. And yet inclusion of that component trumps so many other criteria, including frame material.

Just maybe by specifying the brake style, it was to distinguish from disc braked?

That is a groupset name. IOW, and only guessing the wording could/should have been 'looking for a rim-brake Ti or Steel bike with 105 group'

^^^ Yes, that would make more sense. Maybe English isn't his first choice.

Thanks for saving the rest of us the chore of typing out a reply.

Changing the subject: the OP specified a ready-to-ship bike; the Motobecane page linked to specifies that the bike must be preordered.

That was one specification, the other maybe being made in US? Shipping overseas isn't that big of a deal any more, so assumed this was what was meant.

Just did a search of the Pro's Closet site (featuring new and used high-end bikes). Result using road bike/steel filters:
