Did a quick 22 miles, want to watch the mountain stage starting now.
Saved this guy who was almost up on the railroad tracks. No traffic out here in the country but the train was stopped about 500 yards away and was probably going to take off shortly.

Home elevation is 0 feet, and there is no elevation change. I rode 60 miles today at elevations over 10,000 feet and 3500 of elevation gain. The terrain varied from tarmac to dirt roads to rough, rocky roads. My legs are lead and my butt hurts. The scenery was fantastic. Lunch with my wife after the ride was just what I needed.

25 Miles O.D. Yesterday & again today.
I would estimate that, that is~ or is~ close to the most miles ridden in a day. As much as I'd like to maintain a higher average ride speed, it's usually between 12 & 16. The greater the distance + my general health [rest with nutrition] + poorer weather conditions + area riding + traffic population all take turns at suppressing the speeds.
I'm doing all I can now for distance to prepare for a boring winter.

15 miles on a folding bike. My ass hurts like hell. I shouldn't have ridden that many miles.
P.S. I bought the folding bike specifically to throw it in my car trunk and ride 2 to 4 miles in the downtown.
