What you could do, if you had a running lawnmower, run it over the walls, exposing the framing- thus allowing you store Bridgestones between the 2x4s.

If you don't have a running lawnmower, get your son in law to punch out some of the drywall, maybe have a handyman tidy up the holes.

But be careful, most bikes are too large. Or too small. But you could make it work. Or maybe you couldn't. But like most Americans, the top tubes are too fat. You could also build it up with some super sweet white parts... like Sante or Ole. Yum.
