Finally , a good workout ride ( for me ) Rode my 1x8 setup Schwinn Crosscut for a continuous ride up and down the little hills in my neighborhood.
After receiving my heart tests results and having the stress test Tech tell me I had a “good Strong heart” I decided it was time to get back to riding . Could have gone a couple more but didn’t want to over do it .

When I have a good ride , I feel energized right after and have to watch myself or I’ll over do it doing other things.
Time to work on losing more weight .

Hi. I haven't posted as much of late, but I still lurk.
I'm at 396KM for the month so far, plus a few days on an exercise bike. June total was 669KM.

Got 100 for the month but that's about where it'll end, I'm afraid. I think that I got stung or bit during my last ride, as my forehead swelled up. I felt nothing until my forehead started itching and swelling suddenly - and there was absolutely a stinger hole in my forehead. Go figure.

Luckily, I was near a fire station who hooked me up to an EKG and monitored me for a while. BP elevated. Popped a Benadryl, signed off, finished the ride. Later that night, I was disoriented and went to the ER. They couldn't get a vein and suspected I was dehydrated. Went to my PCP the next day after pounding Pedialyte and water, and they said they didn't even want to try, as bruised as my arms were.

So I have a follow-up later this week. Hoping this passes. I'm sort of scared.

Hope everything turns out ok .
a couple weeks ago I had a bumblebee get trapped inside my glasses . I freaked out . Almost crashed getting stopped . Once I yanked my glasses off he was gone . I’m lucky I didn’t get stung .

I think that I over worked my leg this week, trying to return rehab. I can hardly walk after the 17 mile ride on the trainer. I feel like I went back to square 1, this is a real bummer, I am taking time off until the pain subsides. Note to self: Take my time, it will come to me, rushing some things will only slow it down. Quit being impatient.

Rain showers today . Had a little break this morning, so I took one of my single speeds out for a spinning ride , until the rain picked up and ran me back to the garage.

Yup. Take your time and listen to your body. Hope you start feeling better soon.
