Somebody went to a doctor for a check up as he was getting older. The doctor said, if you get up in the morning, and sit on the couch, you are likely to sit on the couch a little longer tomorrow, and even longer the next day, and continue until you eventually don't feel like getting off the couch. But if you get up in the morning and do a little exercise, you may do more exercise the next day, and even more the day after, and remain fit as you get older.
If you keep fit, and continue as you get older, you can remain fit longer than those who don't exercise, and for many people, live longer. Not just that, but have better quality of life in your old age. So keep it up, all of you.

My golf buddies and I were discussing the rollout schedule for the COVID vaccine. We were running down the priority list for who would receive the vaccine earliest. Somewhere it dawned on us that the “elderly group” or those aged 65 and older was actually our group!!!! I don’t think any of us initially thought we were elderly!!

I can still ride the same long distances as my younger friends but it probably takes me longer, but I bet I’m enjoying it more.

I rode my mountain bike after work yesterday at one of our local trails as I do every Thursday. I forgot my Garmin that was on my road bike so I didn't have a computer. No idea of my heart rate, speed, average speed or distance ridden. I think I rode for an hour and a half and It was AWESOME!!!
