Is this/he one of ours? (1963 Cinelli content)

I just stumbled onto this article in Pez Cycling. It's about a beautifully restored 1963 Cinelli SC, pictured below, owned by a certain Paul O'Neal in Bend OR. The article says that bike and rider are Cino Heroica veterans. Is this one of our C&V peeps and bikes?

I like the idea of being able to swap out parts to make it either (a) rideable with reasonable gears while still C&V appropriate or (b) decked out in all 1963-era components for exhibition/showing off. It's pretty clear that a lot of thought and love went into this.

And where did Paul find matching cable housing?

Can't answer your questions but what a gorgeous bike! Love the chrome lugs/accents.

Might be porkchop BMX, they have quite a few colours.

Disclaimer, I am a satisfied customer - except that I wish they had housing in transparent shiny green as well as blue and red.

Very nice bike. It's fun figuring out how to mod old bikes to make them suitable for serious hill climbing. Someone on BF likely knows the owner of that bike who may well be a member.

Spence Wolf was doing this at Cupertino when these were new, his "alpine" gearing was just the ticket for folks who wanted the best frames and the gearing to go wherever they wanted. Later on he had Merz build many frames for this as well.
