Help me figure out anything about this bike
I had this bike given to me by my friends parents, who had left it in the harsh Canadian weather for 10 years. It sat in my yard for another 5 years before i decided to restore/paint it, mostly as a test for rust removal. (best i found was a brass wire wheel). I don't know the make or model so I am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.
The bike was white in colour before it was fully rusted.(frame, forks, chaincase, fenders, pedal plastics)
-It has a single speed drivetrain, and had an enclosed chaincase before it rusted out.
-Has a section of internally routed rear brake cable.
-Front fork has a key lock, which interacts with the frame to lock the handlebars from turning. I don't have the key but would like one.
-Inside the rear reflector was a light bulb so I assume it must have had a dynamo setup that was removed. (I have installed a dynamo and front light which did not come with the bike so those won't help determine much)
-Seat post is 26mm
-Tire size is 26x1 3/8
Here are the photos i have, if you want more photos just ask! Some detail below each photo. Thanks for any help in advance. I wasn't able to post the photos directly into the thread but they appear to have uploaded to my profile.

Soaking in oxalic acid will remove rust from inside the frame as well. You can use a plastic kiddie pool or do it by sections in a large Rubbermaid.

Metal chaincase? Sounds like some sort of Raleigh. does the fork resemble this one?

I do get the idea it's a Raleigh, as it seems the key lock on the fork is more common on those. The fork does look similar to the one you showed

I would post some pictures of the bike so we can see it. That is all assuming you are interested in bikes and talking about them and would want to post in forum about that. Doing so unlocks the ability to post pictures but that is chump change compared to getting to talk about bikes and such and have loads of fun.

I have posted pictures of the bike. This forum has rules stating i'm not allowed to post them in a thread, but they are posted on my profile. This forum has rules stating i'm not allowed to post a link to my profile, so i've included a partial link in my first post. all you need to do is go to the main page of the website we are on now, and paste this "/g/album/22079213#" after ".net" in the URL.

If no one finding this thread has the answers for you then you might try in the Classic & Vintage in a few days. That sub-forum has people in there that know every old bike made. Some, maybe many of them never come to this sub-forum.

Doesn't look like a Raleigh fork or lock. Interesting rod brake style controls actuating cables. Another place to check is "The CABE"
