Dia Compe Power Control 7 refinishing
I have a pair of Dia Compe Power Control 7 brake levers. They are in good mechanical condition but someone removed the paint/anodizing from the body of the levers, can they be restored to somewhat original color or should I start polishing?

The right thing to do would be get them anodized black.
I have a spray can of Cerama-Coat (oven cured black enamel) and a shop-use toaster oven, so I'd spray it.

I don't think they were ever anodized. I have a pair and they are painted. Dull Satin black would be appropriate.
That is to say the levers should be polished but the bodies should be painted.
