Nice, but I don't think it's $2400 nice. Seller says 56cm. Seems a bit bigger than that. Maybe the pump under the top tube makes the head tube seem bigger? Mybe 56cm is the top tube length?

"Shimano DuraAce/600 group" ?? huh, everything I see on that bike says Campagnolo....

and, I thought Shimano 600 was what morphed into Ultegra, DuraAce was its own top end group ?

Though, to be fair, it doesn't look too bad in this shot.

I am hardly a Bianchi expert (or Italian bikes in general) but this example kind of looks like a dog's breakfast? Carbon fork, crummy looking stem, you have to wonder what the story is behind the fork replacement...

Oh common, that's just photographic distortion It is interesting how differently they are mangled, Driveside looks like an 'S'

Wait a MINUTE! I think the reason the last shot looks better is that the bike was photographed at a completely different time, look at the different surroundings

Decided to sell it after the collision, maybe?

I love that idiom. Hysterical!

I personally think this bike is a stem (and bar) swap from looking cohesive. Who knows the fork replacement. They could have just wanted to modernize and have it look cool. I've done that with a frameset that had a perfectly good fork (1983 Peugeot PB-14).

At first, I wanted to argue with you, but the more I looked at the post, the more I agree with you. Look at the pics of the BB! There's a whole lot of heartache in that bike, but in the end, I'd give him about $300 for it.

In the case of a carbon fork on a Celeste Bianchi, "modernize" and "look cool" are diametrically opposite effects.

I should have clarified my statement to say that "the owner could have swapped the fork because they thought that the carbon fiber fork would look cool/cooler."

Regardless, we can agree to disagree:
