Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just got a message from a patient citing ONE study on Ivermectin and asking me to write him a script.

Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. Not at this juncture.

I know there may be a fine line between cutting edge and quackery, but I am a fairly mainstream physician/internist and it's too soon to be jumping on this bandwagon.

I've read that the CVT fluid in the Fit never wants to be changed. Honda did it at 30,000 km, while it was still on warranty. 'I've also read that, due to high ambient temps all year, we need to change the motor oil every 4-6,000 miles. While on warranty, they did it every 3.000. That seems a little excessive. I should check Fit forums. Can't say as I've ever been there.

Interesting that they find Ivermectin to be safer than the vaccine.

New aero haircut. Not the best job because Andre, the guy who usually cuts my hair, just went back to Italy for vacation. But it will do.

Ironic, isn't it, that they won't put the vaccine in their bodies because it's not "safe," but they will put Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and who knows what into their bodies even though it may not be safe.

Edit: Seeds beat me.

RS what? Cheap ones? Frankly, I wish that cheap (aka placeholder) wheels were a more readily available option on complete bikes, as long as the pricing difference is commensurate. Placeholder wheels seem to go away above $3k or so, and I think thasashame.

Yup. Today is not tomorrow, and no telling when they’ll decide it isn’t worth it anymore. I’ll put up with that for a fast tri bike, but not for anything else.

Also, the fancy seatpost binders are too finicky.

While I hear you, keep in mind that he's currently riding a carbon Cervelo with hydro disc brakes and adequate clearance for modern tires - it's not like he's really behind the times, in terms of bike trends. I see this less as a tangible upgrade and more as a lustful upgrade, so I personally wouldn't sell myself short in the process. I wouldn't want to run the risk of not properly scratching the itch and turning it in to a buy-twice kind of deal.

That's my thought as well. Plus, Bam is young and has time.

Now, if he were to crash again and break the bike, we might be looking at a different situation.

The right dream bike is out there for him. It may just take some time to find and/or some travel or shipping.

Rs 171. Basically an updated version of what came with the C2.

The Zero is suppose to come with Wilier carbon wheels, also interesting on the Filante SlR they switched the wheels to fulcrum 500 but are still asking the original price.

Still waiting to hear back from wrench science. I would do the zero Sl which is 5600.00. Then ask what kind of discount I could get if I put reynold assualts plus a stages ultegra power meter on it. From what I’m calculating I would still have money left over for a wahoo kickr core, and a wahoo element or roam.

Also considering the canyon ultimate CF SLX 8. The reviews are hard to pass up, just wish the brake cables were hidden.

At that point I’d be tempted to just sit out. My issue now is wanting a backup bike that’s matched, technologically, to the primary, but even I’m sitting out until things stabilize more.

Hell I still want a Series X, but not until I can walk into BB and pick it up off the shelf.
