This is a nineteen sixties Raleigh Twenty. I recently put this bike back together, the rear brake is missing the bolt, but the rest of the pieces are still here. I was informed that the frame alone was worth over forty. The bike is in great condition and rides well, the only problem was the missing bolt. I am not interested in keeping this bike for myself, it was a project my brother could not complete because he was moving and took a new job that consumes most of his spare time. I have a miyata girls road bike i would like to sell. It has a relatively new seat, and tires with great tread that have barely been used. Handle bars are gripped and new brakes were put on a year ago. Gear shifter isn't that great but does work. The valve stem on the back inner tube slowly leaks air. not sure if it can be fixed or if a new inner tube is needed. This bike also comes with a hand pump.

I was just at The Bike Stand in Scotch Plains, NJ. The guy has an amazing collection of vintage bikes for sale. This might have amazed me the most. It's a NOS 1984 Gios Torino with all Campy Super Record. Never been ridden. He accidentally buried it in the shop and forgot about it for years. He says he wants $2,500, which seems reasonable. It's my size, but I can't afford it, nor do I need it.

I just looked at several of his ebay auctions. Every one has a video. Yeah, he's tweaked, though I grew up with guys like those. It's a typical New York mannerism. Obnoxious, but sometimes you deal with it because the guy underneath can be OK.
I'm watching the auction. Since the bike isn't in great shape, it might sell cheap. I might even bid on it, but I'm not willing to pay much for it. I'd love to own it, though.
