I briefly had one of these about ten years ago. Sold them when I worked in Seattle and was later given one in Virginia. At the time I had too many bikes and no more space so passed it on to a bike-crazy pal and still regret not keeping it.

Thanks for the advice guys! Just received additional pics. Owner knows nothing about its history and unfortunately the paint is failing in many areas. Also there are multiple areas of rust - nothing crazy but would expect surprises upon inspection. As soon as I get back in town, Ill swing by to take a look see.

Thanks again for everything yall do for the vintage enthusiasts here. This forum is so much fun to watch.

This one is close to me, but $200 seems way high for that frameset to me. Maybe $75, I might check with the seller.

Looks like it has the Suntour Synchro shifters. That model adjusts the front derailleur when you shift the rear by means of sliding the internals slightly
with every rear shift. Kinda funky and neat at the same time.
FWIW I purchased a Nashbar race model which was in not too great of shape, but frame/fork solid and paid $100.00.
Kinda high, but it is a 63cm. Their F/F's were nice and solid. Wish I could get replacement decals for mine...

I got one of these in the last couple of summers. It came ready to ride from the original owner who was an experienced rider. He and I are twins as far as physical size. First ride was an eye opener! The ride blew me away! Decal set away from being a top o' the heap bike! $150.00ish bike all day!

Ahh, must have disappeared with the first bid. Didn't think eBay did that any more. It was somewhere around $550.

He is dreaming. But I am in the same boat with my Cornelo I am into it for more than 500 but with a Alle frame and Triompe group I'll never get 500 out of it.

Could this be a 1000LT in disguise? It looks to be at least a 6 series.

Why doesn't one think an early [green]Trek with some indication brand-name tubing is used isn't worth a lot? It is a near extinct made-in-America product, maybe brazed with silver, and it looks like the downtube lug was filed. I bet their quality control was competitive against the Italian imports; the gruppo is probably what kept it from losing money.

Cool bike, but why such bad pictures. Same seller has a 520 listed with pictures that might actually sell it. Makes me wonder. Price is dream land too, but sometimes dreams come true
