But two of his photos are of a Bob Jackson and Holdsworth Professional

They are all too small for me, but it might be worth inquiring if you ride a smaller frame.
I saw this guy's ad a month (or more) ago, pretty nearly the same examples give or take, and contacted him for details and asking prices. It didn't go anywhere. The sizes vary a bit but never got any confirmed, seems like as small as 54 and large as maybe 59 with the majority around 56. The Merlin is a BJ product; he has a nice (more modern) Marinoni and as mentioned a Holdsworth Pro, a Patelli and a Legnano, a Swiss bike I'm guessing to be an Allegro, possibly a Mondia, (maybe others) Upon a second look that's definitely a Mondia headbadge and this one could be a 52cm, so he certainly was not buying them all to ride himself!

Rivendell Simple One - $1,250

Rivendell Simple one fixed/single speed.
Overall excellent condition. Sugino cranks, Mavic CXP Elite rims, Tektro levers and brakes, Nitto stem, seat post and bar, Velo rack and basket. Paint does have a few nicks here and there but looks new otherwise. Brooks saddle is not being sold but I have another I will replace it with if needed.

Saw that also. Seems like bait. Sounds like you didn't get much more info than the ad.

An honest seller - and a very nice bike for the money - posted 2 hrs ago!
Lancaster, PA

https://lancaster.craigslist.org/bik...345024644.html

Santana vintage tandem - $300 (Willow Street)

Vintage Santana tandem with custom green paint. Bar-end friction shifters, triple front, 7 speed rear. Solid axles, 126 mm rear dropouts, and drag brake. Prior owners rode it a lot, sold it to me around 1992. I used it with my daughter until she could ride her own road bike. Used to do great on rail trails. Needs typical work for a dormant bike.
Pick up only!

Some kind of Japanese(/French?) rando with a mix of components, including Sugino Mighty Tour crankset, Dia-Compe brazed-on centerpulls <drool>, Suntour Cyclone RD, Super Champion rims, Nitto bars, and anachronistic aero brakes. Too small and too far but so curious. Still can't post pictures, but when I asked about it, I got a picture of the head badge--a capital D superscribed over a capital E in gold.

Is that an OEM Trek forkcrown? Looks much more like a "fancy British" vintage fork to me. yet if the pix could be enlarged (I cannot do it) it seems like this may have Trek socketed forkends...so really weird!

60cm Olympia Special on Chicago CL. Seller is asking $1500. No idea if this is a good price or not, but it sure looks nice:. (Sorry, the seller provided plenty of photos, but this is the best drive-side shot.)
