Anyone electric bike brand recomended?

planning to buy my first electric bike, but don't know which brand should I choose and what type of electric bike is good for the entry level.
One of my friend said Addmotor seems not bad.
Anyone could give me some advises? or is there any other good electric bike brand?

Thanks a lot!

Bikes: This list got too long: several ‘bents, an urban utility e-bike, and a dahon D7 that my daughter has absconded with.

on the mid/low end, Sondors seems to have a good reputation.

I think Trek is doing well in this area, considering the Bosch motors and support. I got an Allant+ 8s, it was expensive but it’s worth it...

I just went through the same faze as you are now .... I went with Biktrix ... they have several types of bikes and the owner is active on FB if you ever need a question answered. He assembles the bike and frames are made in the US. Now there are a lot of variables here ... what kind of riding are you going to do .. you have ask yourself .. how far .. how you like to sit on the bike (cruiser , Mountain ) Personally at my age and lower back problems I went with a cruiser .. I wanted throttle in case my knee gives out on me .. And we’re (wife and I) want to do some groomed trails . So when you can give more info the good people here can help you out more!

I am looking for an ebike for my wife. Gazelle is at the top of the list right now.

bulls is a good brand thats on sale now. they give you motor brand choices and battery choices. been happy with mine it has been a great bike. but I don't think they have anything under 3000.00 unless a good sale.

As far as entry level, I have a Rad Rover which has been problem free. My wife has a Specialized Como which is by far a better bike but twice the cost. I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for.

We dropped my bike off at the bike shop today, and they had a used 2019 Trek Verve on sake for $1300. Looks like the gal rode it a few times, fell down, never got back on it.

We bought. Not enthusiastic about Trek ebikes, but the price was too good to pass up.

About to purchase the GIANT REVOLT E+ PRO, but the Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 has caught me eye. Advantage maybe 6 lbs lighter (could be wrong, anyone know the weight on the REVOLT E+ PRO) Advantage to Giant: prefer drop bars and Giant LBS is just a mile away from home, where as the closest Specialized LBS is 25 miles away (and I don't know them). Also the Giant is pricier. Any thoughts?
