Taking apart and reassembling a Shimano quick-release?
Hi all,
Has anyone ever taken apart and reassembled a Shimano (aluminium-type) quick-release skewer?
Reason I’m asking is that I have two of the same length and color, and one of another length and color. I’d like to get one color-matched pair out of those three.
If a skewer swap is doable, that would be a nice way of achieving that goal.

How is the lever shaft held together on the LH side in your photo?
