Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It did that! Very pretty - if it cuts anywhere near as good as it looks, go for it.

Funny timing; here’s exactly what I’ll have shortly:

The heirloom knife, the forever knife, the never-to-be-parted-with knife.

The Bloodroot is on the way home? **** yeah!

Yeah, the Fujiyamas are forged by Y Tanaka and are now being sharpened this new guy, who apprenticed under Morihiro.

I paid extra for more legroom, even though I likely could have had my choice of seats. Plus, 2nd row, so I'm off that plane quickly

Those knives are pretty cool looking. I know not what I'm looking at, but can certainly appreciate delicious workmanship.

Yeah, good question. I think the woman thought she was being clever and was simply intoxicated with what she felt as her power over the man with the phone, so yeah, I guess. This guy, by contrast, appeared to be in full-on berserker mode, doing something incredibly stupid in a highly public setting in one of the most affluent, educated, hooked-up, and politicized places on the planet. I'd he'd weighed his chances for 10 milliseconds, he would have stopped and apologized.

Edit: There seems to be some evidence that he tried to get the phone, so maybe he realized belatedly that he'd ruined his knucklehead life.

Seems the internets initially doxxed the wrong person, possibly via Strava? Anyone know how?

Two innocent people, actually. Strava and magical mob thinking. Everyone said it had to be a cop, so they found one.

I reckon being a dick while wearing mirrored aviators potentially puts LEOs at risk

If Strava is now being used to incriminate people I should probably dial back my average speed those 20-30 m.p.h. zones.

I watched this video on climbing K2, and on the summit day they started climbing at like 11 p.m. wut

P.S. Mountaineering is even dumber than cycling.
