Not sure what there is to be serious or not serious about. It's a statement of fact.

please, fill me in on the brand of bike, kit, wheels, groupset, sunglasses, nutrition, etc. you use which didn't support/continue to support dopers.

sure but pretending that you're taking a moral high ground by not buying hincapie's stuff is a little misinformed when just about the entire bike industry was/probably still is involved in doping at the top levels of sport.

no pretending. surely we can agree it's different if your cervelo frame was made by a company who gave stuff and benefited from dopers, vs giving cash to the doper himself.

I don't wear Oakley or Nike because of their association with the whole era.

To me it's a question of 'how far do I want to go with this?' If it's a situation where I can find the direct link, then I'll boycott. Hincapie is as direct a link as it gets. But am I going to not use the same type of cables that were on a doper's bike? I'd have no cables.
But I try to vote with my dollars when I can.

Back on topic: I'm amazed at how picky some riders are. When asked if they would consider switching their order from a Normal LS jersey to Thermal LS jersey in order to reach our minimums, they come unglued. So now I understand why clothing manufacturers make a zillion variations of everything. Thermal arm warmers vs normal arm warmers? Wind vest vs summer vest? Jacket with pockets vs jacket without? Seriously, this is absurd.

.
There is also alot of evidence pointing towards Nike being directly involved and or directly aware of the doping. Won't buy either of them myself.

Honestly, I kind of blame Rapha.

Knowing that club, you have closer to 200 categories. Should have taken a cat herding webinar before starting the process.

Stopped herding cats. Started shooting cats.

The final drop-dead deadline was yesterday. So when do you suppose our sponsor decided that they need to review/approve the design despite being involved in the process from the beginning?
