26" a good buy in 2022?

I did a lot of camping and touring trips on my Crust Romanceur with 26" wheels. I used RTP's and Racing Ralphs mostly. I enjoy the handling and size of a 26 vs 650 for a more "agile bike". It was great feeling on and off road.
