Don't ask to test ride it.

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...553434793.html

1985 Colnago Mexico/Campagnolo Super Record/Panto/ 55-56cm - $3500
THIS BIKE IS NEARLY PERFECT. ONE LOOK AND YOU WILL KNOW THAT THIS BIKE IS THE REAL DEAL.

This Baby Blue 55/56cm Colnago Mexico with pantographed Super Record Campagnolo components has been sitting in a garage for the last 24 years.
The cranks have a date code of an "11" in a square. I am told by an expert that the brakes are Victory. It is my understanding that in the build-up of the bike at the factory, the brakes were a cost-saving measure selected by the original owner.
The original owner bought it in Italy while on vacation, having visited the Colnago Factory, he took delivery of the bike and put about 100 miles on it in Italy.
He then shipped it home and rode it less than 500 miles (total) when he ruptured a disc in a skiing accident. After the accident it was just too difficult to ride.
So this beautiful Italian Machine sat.
The paint is near perfect, with 1 small chip by the shift lever, caused by the front brake. (Very Common.)
The decals are 99.5% with only minor patina showing it's true age.
The seat is a Concor Super Corsa, in Brown Leather, and is near perfect.
The bike currently has a Modolo stem that is not stock to the bike, but I have the original stem with the pantographed signature.
The leather toe straps are original.
The bartape with Colnago ends is very good and original, and the white brake hoods are in fine shape.
Truly, this bike is THE PREMIER EXAMPLE of Vintage Italian Steel.
I have additional pictures.
The bike is currently undergoing a meticulous detail/cleaning.
I am up for partial trade, depending on what you have. (Serious Vintage Roadbikes Only)
I will not part it out.

Through detailed research, the price is based on a best estimate of what the bike would achieve on ebay at auction.
We are looking to place this beautiful example into a worthy collection. If you know Vintage Italian Steel, you will appreciate this Colnago.
I personally think this bike is worth a solid $5k. If you deal in Vintage Roadbikes, this is worth a look.

NO LOWBALLERS, TIRE KICKERS, OR BSers. I know what I have, and I'm not desperate.
NO ONE TEST RIDES THIS BIKE. PERIOD. DON'T ASK.
call or text 310-2-seven-zero - one-4-one-3 to make an appointment to view this Stunning Italian SuperModel.
or email me.

It'd be worth the $125 in round-trip gas.

FREE bike parts! (edgewater)

Free bike parts. 5 large boxes of assorted bike parts free for the taking. May also be worth something as scrap metal. All sorts of parts are included; headset parts, stems, hubs, cranks, everything except the frame and wheels. Parts are mostly from cheaper, older 10 speeds; no Dura Ace or XTR here. I tried to give these parts to Working Bikes but they never showed up. Serious inquiries only. Must take all parts. Pick up in Edgewater (hollywood and sheridan).

Thank you.

Would anyone be willing to fascilitate on that Trek frame? I'd really like to build a 54cm tourer, and this might be a great platform.

FYI-The Trek Frame looks like it could be a mountain bike frame. Perhaps a 930, 50 or 70. It looks like my 930 and 950 frames. if it is a 900 series frame that is lugged it is well work the investment of $20.00 plus shipping

If you are a believer in Jesus this might be a good deal. Sorry I don't know how to copy the image. Make a $250 donation to the desperate folks in Haiti and get a bike in return.

https://cleveland.craigslist.org/bik/1552057926.html

I rode this late 80's Centurion Ironman Master, high quality steel race bike through the 112 mile Louisville Ironman in 2008 and it is fast and very comfortable. It's completely tuned up, the paint shines lovely and it's ready to ride. It will fit a rider who is 5'9" to 6'1". It's been sitting in a storage box behind my bed and the Lord convicted me this morning of "storing up treasures" (Matthew 6:19-21). It's for "sale" to a believer and follower of Jesus but I don't want the $250....I want you to give the money to a Christian family that you know that may be out of work or going through a tough time. Tell them their Lord and Savior, Jesus, has provided for them.

Due to my current financial situation, I am forced to sell some of my things, including my beloved fixed gear with the flip flop hub. This bike was my companion up in Minneapolis and got me everywhere I needed to go. The frame is in good condition-NO CRACKS OR BENDS -however there are scratches and rust on the front fork, as I rode this year round. It will need a new rear tire and chain. Make me an offer.
thanks

That Centurion Turbo is now mine! The guy never sold it for $150, DCV. He got so many responses he realized he needed to do more market research. Fortunately he is a reasonable guy so the price was still reasonable, not ZOMG UNIQUE CENTURION TURBO ONLY ONE IN THE UNIVERSE $5000 FIRM.
