425 miles in October, 3,050 for 2022, and totally chuffed.
Got back on the bike Nov 30, 2021 and BF folks have helped me all along the way. From the Clyde gang's inspiration to the very deep well of technical help, this forum has been great.

It's raining here today (though relatively warm), and I don't plan on riding, so it seems appropriate to settle up for the month and year:
Dec: 271 miles
Total for 2022: 3,973 miles
That total is what I tracked on various devices; it doesn't include commuting and errand running and the occasional ride where I don't bother tracking. Thus, I'm over 4K for the year but not at 5K, which was my goal. Should have a better shot at that next year with some job changes that'll give me more time and a few tours planned.

The Garmin says about 5500 miles but I'm skeptical, seems like a lot, may trigger a review.
Its wet but may ride and plan to ride tomorrow.

It's been a weird December, between the crazy cold spell just before Christmas, and the warm spell afterwards.
It was a good excuse to take the snow-free bike/MUP trail south and stop in at Trefzger's bakery (probably the only bakery located in a former bike factory!).
Grabbed a donut and noticed that they had a book titled "Bike Boom", by Carlton Reid, on a table. It's a wonderful day in December when you can interrupt a bike ride for a donut and a quick browse of a bike book!
oh... mileage..
498 miles for December.

Not even a hundred miles for the month of December with the wild weather. A storm drifted a short section of my commute closed and I had to shovel it clear so I could continue commuting. The next week my 2’ channel was slush after a day of rain. If I hadn’t shoveled it before that, I might not have gotten it open.
2549 miles (1089 of which was commuting) for a year that started off with sickness that didn’t fully end until April. Just glad to be healthy at the moment when so much flu, ‘Rona, and RSV is in our valley.
Be well and have a happy new year!

Just 15 more miles and you’d have had 2022 miles

I get bronchitis if I ride in temps under 35, so no winter bike. Did rejoin the gym and have been going.

That’s probably one of the only things that would make me seriously consider moving to warmer climes - if I couldn’t ride year-round. It sounds like you know how to manage it, so kudos for riding as much as is possible.

It's brevet season, and I'm starting to up my mileage a bit in preparation for Paris-Brest-Paris later this year, so it seems like a good time to brag about mileage.
So far this year:
January - 662.3
February - 547.7
March - 975.6
---------------------------
2023 YTD - 2,185.6
All my miles have been spread across four vintage-ish bikes. 72% on my '82 Trek 613 (aka "Frek"), 22% on a late '70s Centurion Semi Pro set up as a single speed, and the remaining 6% on a couple of other '80s Treks.

So far I’m on track to beat last year’s total, but not to beat the year-before’s total. Lots of hockey travel has made it tough to get a lot of late winter miles in.
January Total 320.3
February Total 69.2
March Total 200.7
Total thus far. 590.2

Well, I'm back in the game. Between Covid, caring for my elderly mom, being forced to sell my house, looking for a new house and eventually finding a new home, I was hardly riding for the past 3 years. Well, I'm getting settled in and I'm back on the bike:

I wish I was "hardly riding" like gearbasher . That's a good year for a lot of people.
I'm behind last year's total again. It seems I've been slipping.

Mar - 291
Total 847 miles

It's been a pretty good year so far, partly due to the oddly warm weather in January and Feb.
Jan: 531
Feb: 512
Mar: 598
April: 629
May: 1022 (I wasn't planning on that many miles)
total: 3294 miles.

My totals so far this year:
Jan: 133 miles
Feb: 90 miles
Mar: 151 miles
April: 465 miles
May: 380 miles
I’m hoping to get more consistent and push the monthly totals above 500 until Oct or so.

Nothing Jan to Mar save for the townie which doesn't have an odometer, and I seldom set my phone to track GPS unless I'm interested in a route distance. This is northern Michigan where we have actual winter.
Apr: 241
May: 443
There are a lot of off days to avoid tendinitis and other overuse garbage. I'm hoping to be able to toss in a few metric centuries and even perhaps an imperial one this month.
I was planning a nice 20 miler yesterday, but the weather had a different idea. I had just finished the two mile climb that starts this jaunt, and then it started p***ing down rain in sheets, and I had a scary winding descent back home. I had a shimmy just from being so tense in the arms and hands braking down to 15mph, and I suspect that the dreaded disk brakes might have even helped here, not that I'm going to buy another bike. Got to spend this morning washing the bike and cleaning/relubing the chain. (Gah! Ugh! Suxxors!)

Over 500 road miles (no flats) in May, either short rides with an "older riders" group or by myself at longer distances. This is in preparation for Trek Across Maine on June 16. Longest ride: 75M. My cycling season usually doesn't even begin until June 8.
