Decent CF road bike frames for $1500?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lots of good options at this price range, especially with Giant.

Love the color of your Cervelo! Show us pics of the finished project once done.

These frames are rim brake models. I built my bikes up with Campy chorus 12 for under 3K each. I ride the Colorado mountains with mine.
i was looking at the c-rs bikes. Is the sizing different and they can run bigger that we are used to.

Yea, looking at Colnago's sizing, I was a 45cm for my height (5.6"). I almost bought that frame but with tax and shipping the R3 frame was like the same price.

I would rather have an R3 than a Colnago.

I had an R3 back when they first came out. I rode it twice, then tore it down and sold off the frame. Absolutely bad mountain descending bike, IMO.

My Colnago bikes are rock solid descenders. I take mine up to 54 mph regularly, on steep downhills.

Got to work on the beast today. I haven't ridden it yet but I am in love! I hope to have her finished up tomorrow!

One of the nicest looking bikes I’ve ever seen. Great job on the frame colors with everything else black

All finished up and did the first ride today. This was my first bike build so the fact that nothing fell off or I didn’t die is pretty cool. Needless to say, I am in love!!!

Very nice! One suggestion, though. Looks like if you flipped your stem over you could get the same height w/o having to angle the bars up into the sky.

It’s the wide angle photo. The bars aren’t angled up that high.
