Shimano Dura-ACE 10 spd chain and KMC 10 spd masterlink
Anyone know if the above play nice together? I broke the outer plates on my chain. I'd like to replace it with a KMC 10 speed masterlink. Link below.

Thanks

However.... If you broke the chain while riding, as opposed to some installation snafu, it's very likely more than the one link is compromised. It's best to replace the chain.

Yeah chain snapped while riding, It was already compromised - One outer plate was slightly separated from the inner plates and I used pliers to put them back together.
So when the chain finally gave way (I was in grannie standing up a steep climb), the chain snapped, derailleur hanger got mangled beyond the point of realignment. I could replace that section of chain with extra dura ace 10 speed links and shimano chain pins.

Well then, I'd suggest you not compound the error. Just get a new chain.

Get a new chain... that said was the separation at the pin join? If so then I am not surprised and eliminating the suspect link and replacing it with a KMC link will resolve the problem.
....and get a new chain.
....and get a new chain.
