The interesting thing about that bike is that it won't be everyone's cup of tea, so it may not sell fast which means you have more room to negotiate a price on it if the seller is motivated to move it out of his house sooner rather than much later. I would offer him 20% less than his asking price and see what he does with the offer, if he's motivated you'll find out real quick with his counteroffer, then I would try to settle for a price in between his counteroffer and your initial 20% off offer.

I don’t have much info on my bike’s origins. I bought it in 2004 or 2005 from the original owner who raced got it through team sponsorship from Higher Gear around Chicago. It’s probably a 2001 or 2002. It had full Dura Ace group set, 3T stem and bar, Thomson seat post and Fizik seat, LeMond carbon fork. I replaced the original wheel set a long time ago and don’t remember the originals, maybe Zipp. I haven’t seen this orange and blue gulf livery on any other LeMond. It also has a (race number?) tab on the underside of the top tube.

Planet X Tempest V3. I found the bike on Ebay and picked it up locally. The previous owner did maybe 3000 miles on it and had changed the seat post to a carbon 3T Zero25. I added a Prologo saddle I had laying around and some light cheap platform pedals. The previous owner had changed the tires to 650B Panaracer Pari-Moto 38mm and while these are great tires, they were showing signs they would need to be replaced after a couple hundred miles, so I changed them to 650B Panaracer GravelKing 42mm, which are also basically slick tires. Other than the tires the only thing that needed attention were the brakes so new pads were put on. Using this as my "everyday" winter bike until the Spring when I can get the carbon race bike out on the road again.

A guy I know who worked at a LBS had one. Think that was in the early 90s. It may have been a relative prototype. He built it up himself. It was rather large because he’s around 6’4”. Neat looking ride.

That is a fine looking Lemond. I love the decals. I have 2 Lemond 853 and an Airborne ti, but a titanium Lemond in my size, 53/54 cm, is a bike I would seriously consider purchasing.

I just scored a T-Lab X3 frameset, and am amassing bits for the build now. I’m excited for my first Ti experience!
Though they’re a young outfit, they’ve put some innovative features into the X3 which certainly reflect the fact that many at the company were also at now-defunct Guru, so this is not their first rodeo, as the saying goes.
Billed as their all-terrain, I’ll be spec’ing the complete bike more typical roadie than gravel trendy, as that suits my preferences and terrain, Some 38c rubber should be pretty sweet for the dirt roads around here.
Anyhoo...I’ll post up pics once it’s done, too.

It's my road bike and my gravel bike. Just swap wheels based on where I think I'm going. Definitely has the ride of Ti, but is still plenty stiff when standing on the pedals. The top tube and seat tube get plenty of looks too.

I've got a 2020 fully built out with GRX di2 and a 2x setup up front. I have a set of road wheels with 32mm GP5k Tubeless & GRX wheels with Gravel King SS (F) SK+ (R) also tubeless.
It's my road bike and my gravel bike. Just swap wheels based on where I think I'm going. Definitely has the ride of Ti, but is still plenty stiff when standing on the pedals. The top tube and seat tube get plenty of looks too.

Awesome frame! I love my 2019 T-Lab X3. It’s my do-it-all bike! I picked it up directly from the factory in Montreal in January 2019.
I can’t seem to post pictures since I have less than 10 posts here, but will see what I can do about that.

I think it’s special, too, and really hope to make a pilgrimage out to T-Lab sometime soon. I’ve really been wanting to go to Montreal anyway, and a chance to swing in to see the shop would be the icing on such a trip!

Finally hit my 10 posts and can contribute a photo to this thread
I got a good deal on this frame from a friend a while back (didn't quite fit him) and had been slowly acquiring parts for it, finally had time to build it up in March when everything shut down around here.
Best I can tell it's a mid-90's Dean El Diente frame made by TST. First time I've done a full build (other than the headset, which was already installed when I got it). Fun project and I've been enjoying riding it.

Thanks! I’m really excited to get mine built, and with all the COVID slowdowns, I’m glad I’m doing this now, in winter, rather than later in spring, so that I can be out riding it when the weather is good instead of sitting around waiting for parts.

Nice!! How do you find the Mavic Allroad XL tires on tarmac? I removed mine when I got the bike since I had other plans for tires, but was wondering if it's worth it to put them back on my gravel/allroad wheelset?

The Yksion Elite Allroads are fine on tarmac, but the Gravel King SS/SK+ combo is better. When I'm doing more tarmac than gravel I do the Gravel Kings, when I know that's going to be flipped or know that it's loose fire roads & single track I go with the Yksions as they have more bite on the side wall. If I only had the Nox w/GP5K & Mavics I'd be content, but who wants LESS bike stuff??

I finally reached 10 posts, so I can show you my T-Lab X3. Awesome do-it-all allroad bike. It's currently setup as a road-oriented machine, but I can easily change the chainring and wheelsets for gravel/singletacks adventures!
