Pretty sure this will be my Eroica bike when I get some proper wheels made.

From a 1970 Gazelle Tour de l'Avenir that I need to work on. I don't know why this crap didn't catch on.

I got a N.O.S. replacement from someone here on BF for $25. I just need to find time to do the rest of the bike so it is worth putting it on.

1973 Steyr Clubman -- plastic derailleurs, but the saddle is rubber
1969 Raleigh Competition -- this one did not come with a rubber saddle
1967 Peugeot PX-10 Super Deluxe -- though they would have been original equipment, I couldn't bring myself to put plastic derailleurs on this one. It does have some nice MAFAC though.

Wanted to get this one back to proper specifications before moving it on. I think I did pretty well.

I have a UO-8, which I built from a bare frame when I worked at a Nishiki/Peugeot dealership.
It has never had Simplex derailleurs, plastic or otherwise -- always some sort of SunTour in back and the same Shimano Titlist in front.
It does have a Mafac front brake and a Peugeot-branded Weinmann rear brake.
