Weight with rim width
I know this is a bit off topic but I want a sirrus 6.0 2021 but I do not think the rims can handle my weight. I weigh 245 and I have a body fat of 12% so I'm not fat but a lifelong bodybuilder. I would consider the sirrus x 5.0 but the crankset is to small for my leg strength. I have a 2009 stumpjumper with a crankset of 44/34/24 up front. I have been riding this on gravel and find i need more gears on the flats. The sirrus 6.0 has the right gears but can't handle my weight and the sirrus x 5.0 doesn't have the gears I want. How do I solve this problem? Can I put the crankset from the 6.o on the x 5.0. Based on what I've read putting the rims from the x 5.0 on the 6.0 isn't an option.

Lol. You are overthinking this.
Stock Sirrus 6.0 will handle your weight just fine. Your leg strength has zero effect on the crankset.
The Sirrus X version handles wider than the other sirrus models.
Think of the Sirrus as a flat bar road bike and the Sirrus X as a flat bar gravel bike.

I have a 2020 Sirrus 6.0 and a 2018 Sirrus Expert Carbon which are essentially the same bikes. I was 216 lbs riding the original rims ( AXIS 2.0 Disc) on the older bike and it was fine. The 6.0 comes with DT Swiss R470's. Can't see it being an issue.

At just over 6' and after having ridden the Sirrus Expert for 13 months, I found the L to be a tad small for me and wanting to stick with the same brand and model, found an XL in a new bike. I have since sold the older bike and find the 6.0 fits my frame a lot better.

Sirrus sizing
According to Specialized...for Sirrus: 5'5" - 5'9" M 5'9" - 6'0" L 6'0" - 6'4" XL
As I said, at just over 6', I found the L too small..but I also have a 35" inseam. New bike is XL.
Best to find a bike and try it our beforehand. Good luck.

Take note, sizing between Sirrus models varies a bit... For example, in medium:
A medium x 4.0 an
the geometries are not the same. For example a x 4.0 and x 5.0 both in medium have different stacks and reaches.
- Sirrus 6.0, x 5.0 & 4.0 reach: 384 and stack: 631
- Sirrus x 4.0, reach: 382 and stack: 635
- Sirrus x 3.0, 3.0 & 2.0, reach: 398 and stack: 593
