Disc Brake Rotors
My Specialized Crosstrail hybrid had Shimano SM-RT30 rotors for the disc brakes. The original set lasted over 5K miles. I purchased the following last year:

and after 3,500 mile they are down to 1.6 mm and the minimum is 1.5. Actually I can show 1.5 in one area of the rotor. The rotors start out at 2mm. I also see these on Amazon, the RT54 version:

Would the RT54 be better lasting? Or just a weight difference? Any other rotors at 160mm center lock that might be longer lasting? Finally, maybe run them to 1.4 or 1.3mm as 1.5mm might be very conservative from Shimano?

I dunno. What pads are you using. Those rotors say for resin pads only. Buy the Shinmao Icetech rotors maybe.
