Am I the only person in the world...
...who can get a front flat while his bike is on a trainer. Due to the virus craziness, I've been exclusively on a trainer since March. Today, my front tire was flat. I don't get it.

I agree, a pinch flat. Before every ride, I check the air in my tires, but on my trainer, I just connect and go. So a pinch flat could happen I guess, but to answer the question, Yes, you are the only in the world

As far as the type of flat, I haven't checked it out yet.

Haven't you ever had a tube just let go? I had it happen once to a bike just minding its own business hanging on the wall. Just let go at a seam - no FOD.

I thought I was the only one to get a flat on trainer, but you beat me! Mine was at the rear tire, looks like the old tire I put on to use on the trainer had a very small shard imbedded that over the hours finally pierced the tube.

I going for the poltergeist theory. Found no hole in the tube. No leak in the valve. I always use the nut on the presta valve stem. After I reinflated the tire and tried threading the nut on the valve, it stopped about five threads short of contacting the rim. When I looked at those last five threads, they were fubar. Like the valve was moving up and down in the rim. But, I always keep that nut tight and when I put the bike on the trainer, I put the valve on the top. There is no way the stem could have moved. Poltergeist!
To add to the poltergeist theory, Here is a non-cycling enigma I had. I used to play guitar, but haven't played since a serious cycling accident in 2008. I figured, since I'm stuck sheltering in place, I would start again. I took out my Gibson J-45 that I had put away. It was tuned down a full step and kept properly humidified. I replaced the strings and played it for 2 days. On the third day, I felt a hairline crack in the neck, near the head stock. It definitely wasn't there one the first day.
I guess if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
