With Cycling News, Cycling Tips, and VeloNews all behind paywalls now, what do you do?

I'm all set for broadcast coverage (love my GCN) but running pretty light these days on e-print media.

I almost pulled the trigger just now on CN but, heck, a year of that is 50% more than a year of GCN. It struck me as inequitable.

Not CN honestly. I've been thinking about the others. CN does have live text coverage which might be worth it but their content is kinda shallow.

I just went through the same process and got stuck in the same place. Of the three, Cycling News is the one I prefer to read - it has the most information - and I figured that I should support them. But then with monthly subscription fees that amount to about $100/year - that's pretty steep.

I pay for the Tour Tracker app but I believe that benefits World Bike Relief too

Definitely GCN. I also use a paid VPN ($50 for a year of Nord), so no issues with being able to watch everything plus the other benefits of using a VPN. I'm also an Xfinity user, so I get the Peacock broadcasts too if I want them. As far as print (e-print), Outside+ is pure garbage. I'm so bummed they ruined decades of cycling journalism history. I'll take a few ads to look at basically anything else. I like The Inner Ring and Cycling Weekly. I still use PB for most stuff mountain biking. I'll have to see how Discovery handles things once Redbull is out at the end of this season.

Thanks for that, I was considering outside+

I guess cycling news is pretty good but this year their live text coverage has been sparser?
