Im excited to have found the H Plus Son SL42 rims for the Krono. 650 front and 700 rear.

This model was available in both sizes but not in 36h .(Hubs are 36h) ill have to decide on 32h for both or go 36h on rear.

Got four oil caps for hubs tonight. Huge shipping box with a smaller box taped inside. Parts weighed about an ounce, but wow! Also got two pairs of Superbe brake levers, a 26.4 seat post. Third item was a French BB. The mail ladies's bag was a lot smaller after leaving my house. Smiles, MH

Today I got a Reynolds alloy stem from roundabouts 1950, delivered straight to my doorstep from merry ol' England... And a fine thing it is!

^^^^ I thought nobody was left to develop film. Do you have to set up your own darkroom?

My dad created a darkroom for my mom in the back of our garage (mid- to late-50s). I barely remember it, but remember being fascinated by the equipment AND the process.

So..... the seller made a really careful packaging (fits the German Engineering stereotype) I'm really grateful for it. I apologize for the non-drive side pic, but I only had a few mins to unpack it, shoot some photos and run home, so its still in the workplace garage waiting to be cleaned and screwed together.

I'm seriously thinking about it, at least for film processing. I only need a bathroom for that. I'm toying with the idea of a hybrid approach: shooting and processing the film, then scanning and printing digitally. The last darkroom I had was in high school.

Not bike related, but I'm excited.

I'm not so much excited about the blade, although a Forrest blade is pretty sweet. I'm mostly excited by my recent craigslist find. I've been meaning to get a tablesaw for the last decade.

Turin-branded Eisentraut Limited from jeirvine . Thanks, John! Here's a pic of it only partial unwrapped. It will probably hang there like a hibernating bat until sometime in May or June as we will be in Portland for an extended stay.

A 53cm ct X 53cm tt Japanese market 3Rensho Katana, that I believe to be 1989, paint is a little rough but nothing that cant be touched up, mechanical condition is nice.

3 Point lugs.

Super Ends.

A fork crown to die for.

A nice deep green B17 Champion Special with copper plated rails. Not quite sure which machine it will sit on first.

From CL, 60$ and included a tin of Proofide.
