I seen this message and wondered when I posted it. Dang been there a while. Well 1X is not for me unless I ride my mountain bike on single track. I ended up putting a GRX 30X46 on my Gunnar and it works well. I have a drop bar mountain bike, converted Karate Monkey, with a XT 26X36 10 speed and that works great. I had a 1X on the KM and didn't like it on rail trails and all around. My Specialized Fuse is 1X of course and it works for mountain biking.
