Shimano 21 Speed ST-EF51 3 x 7 For Shifters / Brake Levers Kit Bike

Looking for Shimano 21 Speed ST-EF51 3 x 7 Shifters / Brake Levers for cantilever brakes
Need the set with the small clip inside to change from V Brakes to Canti.
So far all I see on ebay & amazon is the set for V Brakes.
Would prefer not to change to V Brakes to get new shifters

You might need to look at a Microshift dual control lever. You say shifter/brake lever so I'm assuming you mean something some call by the dreaded name of "Brifter" for a drop bar bike.

https://www.microshift.com/products/...7;pa_speed:109

Or is this a bike with separate shift levers and brake levers and you just need both? Microshift will probably be the answer for that too since you only have a 7 speed rear. There are others that make Shimano compatible stuff for 7 speed. But if you want Shimano, you'll have to pay the highway robbery prices for used and NOS at eBay.

I know your pain!
EF-65 also had a "dual brake" version that came in the same 7, 8 or 9 speed.
Since Shimano has left the manf. of these to the counterfeiters.......
I have no idea if their new series has that option available. I fear it's not.
The originals would have a 4 in the suffix vs a 2 for the V brake only version. AKA 4 Finger vs 2 Finger. Trouble is, they don't list the full part#.

About 3 years ago I found a set of 9 Speed EF-65's for my Rockhopper. It took some serious searching back then.
Maybe somebody has a lead, but it's going to be a tough find.

Saw the Microshift and not looking for that. Check the post on Youtube by R.j. the Bike Guy ref the EF51.
The shifters would be replacing Twist Grip Shifters on butterfly/trekking bars

Why not get some RapidFire shifters and keep your current brake levers? They're ergonomically better then EZFire and don't have the limitation of a combined brake/gear lever.

I agree on just getting shifters and keeping existing brake levers.

I have one brake lever that has a crack where it mounts to the bars and some of the parts are old and need to be replaced in whole.
New shifters/ brake levers would be going on trekking/butterfly bars on a hybride that was converted for touring

I'd think about looking at a bike co-op for some used brake levers and/or shifters. New shifters and $5 used brake levers

The 4A part is what denotes the 4 finger version vs the 2 finger, V brake only version as in post #3.
It's good to know Shimano still makes that style.

Had trouble finding online. ebay & amazon just had the Vbrake flavor. Local LBS is a Shimano distributer and was able to get them
