I like Contador for this one.
Especially with that final climb.
Would love to see Evans do the double.

Andy and Frank cross the finish line whilst hugging? Too much to hope for?? Andy didn't go all in at Fleche, like a wizard or perhaps darth vader, he will asphyxiate his opponents while charging up the climbs, and if need be he will Cinzano Alberto and Evans at the same time, with telekinetic mind powers. Horner will pass gas on Alberto (Double Down with Extra Bacon and Special Sauce at the feed zone) after stealing 3rd place.

The last climb is not very steep so may not be to Contadors liking. I think Valverde will be tough as his suspension will probably start soon after the race. My darkhorse pick is Horner.

Five years ago they never would have let Vinokourov off the front like that. When they start letting you go...

HA HA ! i love it, Astana was supposed to suck this year because "the shack" took all the good riders remember! I'm glad they won again today, thats 3 overalls + 3rd place and a TT stage for bert, and 1 overall and 1 leige for vino. so much for a team that cant get alberto to the podium/wont be able to get results this year.
I wonder about these strange stomach viruses that LA keeps getting,as he drops out of the races.Mabey it's the anti anxiety pills upsetting his stomach, or ulcers from "punching the seats in the buses and screaming about winning"(thats from LA's war)

shove 2,000 calories of sugar into your stomach every time you race, it is really bad for the stomach, and great for breeding parasites and other nasties.

Vino won my perpetual loyalty when he appeared last year, newly reinstated, dressed as Vino.

That is amazing, like marc bollen from T REX,he would have a giant cardboard cut out of himself on stage, and wear a t shirt with himself on it,all in the same concert.

I take it you never watched "born to boogie" then, when the band is playing the sold out concerts, you see the cutouts standing as big as his marshall stack, and his mug is peaking out from his shiny jacket on the t shirt underneath.
