Although I was sick I probably could have pushed it and gone out there. However my biggest reason for not going was concern on what would happen if I hit the deck. Last Aetna race coming up, I don't want to go into that race on the 12th still sick, road rash/etc would make it worse, etc.
btw the Missus sends her best wishes as well.
Also lemme get my phone to check for msgs.

Chris Hinds M50+. Jonathan and Dave K. were of great help.
You guys are slacking. You have the opportunity to inflict pain inducing laughter with the bib back story. I'm disappointed.
Going down for a chest X-ray so they can pull the chest tube.

Ug. You'd think 50+ would be safer, right? I think that was the same group where I spent a good half of my Tegaderm patching up one guy last year.

I actually typed something out but then I deleted it. Didn't want to pile on a dude on the hospital.
But anyway, I think mikey played you for a sucker. With those bibs the thing to do is pass them on to somebody else, that's the only way to lift the curse.

Oof. Surprised I didn't hear about the crash, I had a bunch of friends down there. I was glad I wasn't there (painting house), with that wind it seemed scary. Good luck with that X-ray, the sooner you don't have extraneous tubes stuck in your body, the better.

Do I really need a Shimano preload cap too to install a non-drive side crank arm? Is there something else I can use? I need to put one on this coming Monday morning and the interwebs can't get me one until next week unless I pay extra for guaranteed shipping. Doesn't feel like something a LBS would stock, but I'll check if I need to.

How weird would it be if I knocked on my neighbors door and offed to pay them 30 bucks for a month and a half of internet?
Housemate is super passive aggressive and my housing arrangement is going to absolute crap. She changed the password of the router on me and hid it after I told her that her ultimatum for me to leave at the end of may has no basis in reality because she wants to live there with her boyfriend.
I have just a month and a half or so of work left.
I'm too tired for this crap.

btw I flatted a tire on a Stinger 4 that I bought used a while ago. Holy smokes it took forever to take off the tire. I have a pile of bits and pieces of base tape as proof.

Slow reaction times trump experience. Teammate went down as well over the weekend in a 50+ crit in SoCal. Had another friend go down a few weeks ago and get run over in a W35+ race.

On a completely un-important note in light of Shovel...
If you keep Zwift on in the background and aren't focusing on it, it's quite possible to completely miss someone sending you a message and make it seem like you're antisocial. Alternatively you can see someone you think you know and not message them, and then make it seem like you are antisocial.

I am interested in trying a new-to-me set of bib shorts soon; the only make/model that I've ever felt comfortable in has been discontinued. Most of my experience has been from mid-level team apparel, and they have been neutral or "meh" at best.
