Scored a Sram red compact crank with rings today for half what I have into the quark crank. Lighter, cheaper, mmmmmm..... just need to sell off the quark ones now.
I've been doing some of the GCN workout videos on you tube. Friken hurty. Suddenly I cant spin past 110 rpm without bouncing all over the place. Cant figure it out. And it's a real female dog to get and hold 120. Something isn't right with my fit or ?.....

I think that was me. At least, it may have been me. A few years ago, during the first royal wedding, I expressed frustration that Americans were obsessing over the marriage of a family that my ancestors fought and died to throw off the yoke of, and that's not the last time I said something like that. The French princess in The King said it best: "All monarchy is illegitimate".
Now, British people are often lovely.

Anything below @ 50rpm make my knees angry for days. I naturally ride @ 87 rpm now, when doing a mix of endurance, tempo and threshold.

Folks probably use kosher salt from the supermarket for ice cream assuming they don’t have a an ice cream freezer bowl that they pre-freeze in their refrigerator freezer.

Knocking on wood here. My low cadence stuff is in the 40's and sometime's 30's, with 2x40' scheduled for tomorrow. It sometimes gets the legs and knees "achy", but never has it been painful.

If I had my way, the British royal family would trade their English and Scottish lands to Protestant residents of Northern Ireland resettling them in Britain and donate the Northern Ireland properties back to the Republic of Ireland, thereby reconstituting Ireland at only their own expense. Good plan, no?

See the funny thing for me is it doesn't hurt my knees (at least in the volume I've done), it just leaves my quads unusable.

Right now I'm doing mostly high zone 2 with some 2x15 sweet spot once in a while. I'm just trying to get my endurance back, but man is it a slow process.

Endurance never really completely leaves you, but that top 10% that you would depend on, does leave a big hole

Never done low cadence intervals, but squats certainly do exactly that to me and don't hurt my knees (at least at the tiny weights I'm able to lift). I always figured they come back stronger, though...when they come back.

It's the end of an off week, so only the commute (TSS ~ 40, total), and I just got an email that the group is on for tomorrow, so I will likely skip the squats and just do upper body and core, including a few deadlifts. Traveling next weekend, so I can really flog myself during the week.
Started squats on Monday and immediately put on a pound from the inflammation.

This came up last year. I don't know if someone brought a horn to the concert or not. Much of that stuff is directly behind me and I don't know what's going on whilst I'm playing
