Cool Vegan Cyclist Video

The title: "The Impossible Route: Death Valley (An Epic Cycling Documentary)". Sounded a bit over-hyped. It wasn't. Very interesting. Very nicely captured. If the mods feel this should be moved elsewhere, that's okay. I felt like it would appeal to many cyclist, not just road or endurance cyclists.

As a 54 year old Clyde, this ride really would be impossible for me. Much, much respect.

Watched the whole video. Thumbs up if you are into OHV endurance on gravel bikes. Not my thing at 57 y/o. Scenery is first rate.

What I would like to see is something more manageable for recreational cyclists. That IME would have more appeal.

I could swing the route if it weren’t for the whole off road thing. I’d love to do it on a motorcycle.

CycleBlaze is a site where a wide range of touring cyclists post tour journals. During the pandemic year, new ones slowed down but people started uploading their older rides and there is one up now from 15 day tour through Death Valley CA back in 2011 - here.

Looks like many will be getting out on the road in summer 2021, might be some more showing up. Sometimes a link to a YouTube video but primarily personally produced online journals - not quite as professionally produced as the Vegan Cyclist's YouTube channel or that Canyon-sponsored crazy "Impossible Ride" video, which I enjoyed.
