Im posting my 1974 raleigh international. Aquired the frame when i used to work at a bike shop and built it up to ride. Everything on this bike is true and works smooth and flawless. Done many rides on this bike and always gets lots of complements.

Used men's Trek Model 614 bicycle. Serial #039352. Reynolds 531 frame. Good condition overall considering it's age. Some paint scratches and minor surface rust on the chrome. Overall solid bike I've had and really didn't use much the past 30 years due to being lazy. I would prefer to sit upright more anyways like on a mountain bike now that i'm getting older. Mowed a neighbors lawn for one summer back in 1986 to obtain this bike. Price is negotiable. Thanks for looking!

It is amazing how nice these bikes are for small cost. In the last year at a Bloomington, IL shop, there were two near mint 5xx and 6xx series Trek's priced $150 to $250 obo. One was equipped with Cyclone and the other Shimano 600.

I'm not into flipping but do feed the leads. Not greedy and only hope others catch the C&V bug and appreciate these bargains. I could have snagged them and bring into the Chicago market. Whatever. Though boggles my mind how some would rather pop $2k plus for brand new and ride only occasionally.

Paramount 50th anniversary with DA, looks pristine. It's at an esate sale(sort of, see the caption on the pic). Estate sales around here usually have bikes pegged at the top or way beyond any sort of reasonable price, and since they won't list or quote you a price you can't find out until you show up. Might be different with this on, since you have to schedule to see the bike so you might be able to get them to give you a price on the phone...Edit: they added the price: $7500

That seems like a steep price to me considering it appears to have been repainted, or the picture quality is too poor to show how bad shape the paint is in, and none of the anniversary gold decals were put back on nor is the 5oth anniversary gold head badge decal on. So now the question becomes is it a real 50th or did someone find a gold fork and put it on a different bike? Serial number would be an absolute necessary thing to get to verify the bike; then one would probably want to send the bike to Waterford to have it restored properly.

It's hard to see in this pic, but in one of the other pics on their site you can see the Paramount on the top and down tubes and the the head-badge. DA is pristine, but $2K would be pushing this one really hard. There's a frame on the bay for $1k not moving. Best one recently sold was new-in-the-box, as in still bubble-wrapped with the certificate, jacket and bag for the fork and it went for $1200. Link to that sale:
