Our secret no more!
First Adventure Cyclist, and now Bicycling Magazine have let the secret slip about the great riding that can be had in Trempealeau County, WI. A fantastic road map of 17 loops on virtually traffic free paved roads with scenic vistas a flying fast downhills, and more climbing than most can handle. I have been there, and it is some of the best cycling around. I guess now I'll have more fellow cyclist's to share with!

I blame some nameless fool who hosts The Brute for that. Almost as horrific as the horribly. If only it wasn't scheduled for the same day as the MN Fishing opener.

Pretty hard to keep a secret as good as T-County a secret very long...I came up there last year in September and rode with the Bicycle Magizine girl and had a blast! Wonderful people riding in a wonderful location. Good thing it's 1000 miles up there for me or THIS Texas would be up there sucking wheels every chance he had!

I grew up there (actually, just east into Jackson County), and I repeatedly kick myself for not getting a road bike when I was a kid. I lugged a damn MTB around those hills and roads.
I now make trips up there to ride as much as I possibly can. And, now that I have a son, it's just another reason for Grandma and Grandpa to get to see him. They take my son, I go ride
It's worth the drive from anywhere to ride in Trempealeau County.

Was out that way on a bicycle tour through the School district right before highschool in the '90's, stopped at whitewater state park, stayed in the park in stockholm, etc.. Have to bring the bike out sometime too.
Nowadays my parents and I take the sports cars down the river valley for some fun..
