Need opinions: Is this Giant Escape 2 Hybrid a decent bike?
My bike got stolen, so I need a new hybrid. I'm currently using a mountain bike (revel 2) but it's a pain sometimes to use on concrete. My old bike was a performance hybrid, and was good for comfortable and aggressive riding. Here is the bike I was looking at

Here is my old one:

Which one is better when compared? I know that Giant is a better brand then diamondback.

YES!!
I bought one 2 years ago and have ridden it a few thousand miles. On the roads and on rail trails. 2x from Pittsburgh to DC. I looked at a Trek but liked the Giant better. And now I work PT at the bike shop and people who test ride the Escape usually buy them!

My Diamondback is cracking its metaphorical knuckles and looking menacingly at you from across the room.
Being slightly more serious, both of those bikes are about the same spec and will probably be very similar in terms of performance, if you ask me.

Haha thanks guys. Yea thats what I thought, probably the same..
Shame my old diamondback got stolen. It was a piece of art. I'll probably pick up the bike in a couple weeks when I get paid

PTB, I can't write that Giant makes a better bike than Diamondback, both are pretty good. The Giant should be at least as good as the Diamondback.

Thanks, will probably get it then.. They are offering my 1 year warranty and it's 10 bucks cheaper than this department store GT hybrid I was looking at.
