FS: Early 80's Serotta Club Frameset- 58ish

SOLD

This one stings, but its time for me to admit the top tube is a bit short for me. It was my first Serotta, beautifully built and rides like a dream (especially if it fits!). From what I can tell it's a Club from the early 1980s. The serial # was stamped on the inside of the drive-side dropout, and the last two digits (82) are the only ones visible. While it's an epic bike, it's not without its flaws. I rode it as an incognito commuter that I wasn't afraid to lock up, but it could use a full restoration to return it to its original glory.

The good
- Gorgeous legwork, expertly thinned
- Card suite fork blade reinforcement
- Great tire clearance 700c 32+ and I also ran it with 38c 650B with long reach calipers
- Serotta pantograph fork crown and seat stay caps
- Its an early Serotta!

The Bad
- Ding in the NDS top tube (about the size of a penny). Could be rolled out and/or filled
- Serotta decals are pretty much gone
- Driveside chainstay paint has some pretty good rash, does not cut into the metal however
- Top tube guides have some bubbling. They've never given me any trouble but could stand to be replaced if you we're to repaint.
- Paint is pretty thrashed with a few misc scrapes etc and minor surface rust. Again, nothing structural.

Measuments as taken by me:

Top tube 57.5cm ctc
Seat tube 59.5 cmc stc 61 cm ctt
Head tube 18cm
Chainstays 42cm
STA 74° HTA 73.5°
Reach 40cm
Stack 59.5cm

Not sure where to put this, but I'll start by asking $225 shipped CONUS as pictured for the frame, fork, Dura Ace headset and bottle cage.

You can see a few build iterations in my thread here and lots of pics HERE

I would likely be sending you money if this was a ~56 cm TT. GLWS!
