WTB: Tektro 539 brakes- Nutted, Silver
Need a set of Tektro 539’s, silver, must be nutted.
Could also use just a front one, even if it’s black (would use center bolt to convert a recessed one I have on hand).
Thanks for looking!

Doc, are these no longer available new? Just curious since I have one ST frame waiting to be rebuilt, and on your recommendation the 539s have worked well.

Nutted ones no longer appear on the Tektro site, and like all things bike parts right now, all of the online suppliers seem to be out of stock.
There is a rare and esoteric 73mm replacement center bolt, but the only one I can find is in Germany & the cost with shipping is expensive for just a special bolt.
An alternative is to drill the frame for recessed nuts, but am hesitating to do that.
For now.

They're plentiful and cheap on ebay. $30 for one; $50 for a set.

Have looked at eBay and Amazon as well as many online sites. My understanding from multiple sellers is that ‘hex nuts’ are recessed nuts.
Many eBay sellers who claim to have them in their posting are actually selling multiple iterations (color, nut type) and are out of the nutted ones.

Appreciate the offer.
At this point, looks like I've got what I need.
Thanks
