Yesterday I was pedaling along during my year-end extravaganza, and, as I accelerated going downhill, I felt a ripple on my headscarf. wut

So I reached up to feel what was going on and it was not until that moment, seven miles into the ride, that I realized I didn't have my helmet on.

Ive done that twice now. Both times I continued and both times I felt a crash was imminent.

I usually do the Mount Wilson climb on NYD. Today I wasn't sure if anyone was going who I could ride with. Plus, I didn't feel like dealing with the wind and the freezing descent. This guy was on the group gravel ride I posted before Thanksgiving.
