What Are Your Favorite Crazy Bike Colors?
I've noticed in the past few years the manufactures have been going crazy on colors. Some of these bikes are looking like show paint samples from a DuPont catalog.
I saw this the other day: Matte Alinix
And Purple Flip:
I'm really liking the direction the bike companies are going with these colors. Curious to if anyone has seen others and what there favorites are.

I've always liked the 70's lavender Raleigh Comp. Sorry, couldn't find a better photo of one.

I don't see many special colored bicycles.
But I see a lot of very interesting colored handlebar tape all the time.

Counterpoint: You're seeing more bikes (cars, too) with this bland 'wet concrete' color - sort of a dark gray. Seemed boring to me, until I realized that it opens up almost unlimited possibilities of colors for bar tape, water bottles, and other accessories, not to mention colorful hubs and headsets.

How about the Centurion/Dave Scott Ironman bicycles from the mid-1980s/early 1990s? Pretty neat two-tone paint jobs on a lot of them. There's a whole thred devoted to them in the Classic &Vintage subforum.

Old enough, hmmm?
Naturally right at the moment my spanking new Mud Adder e-bike , arrived yesterday and got assembled pronto. An extremely short test ride after assembly.
Mud Adder?
Name? The De Vis' banded snake was thought to be confined to alluvial flats in Queensland and New South Wales.
Didn't see any on our trip to Oz

I'm a fan of the patriotic color scheme myself and like mentioned above. I don't see much color coming out on bike myself anymore.
Some other real color in my opinion.

My early 90’s ride. The infamous Lance rode one (don’t know if I should be ashamed or not ). Cows love it.

KLEIN absolutely owned it in the 1990's. Fades for daaays.
Honorable mention goes to Cannondale around Y2K, Especially seems like the Euro/Export bikes got some really flash graphics.

I don't have any pictures that accurately capture the quality of the paint job on this. Even after 25 years have passed.

Fancy colors are nice, but you have to get a neutral bar tape to go with it. Neutral frames allow you to get creative with the accessories.
I had one of these in the early 90's. Loved the unique color.

Did someone mention colorful bar tape?
My Super Record. MBK made some wild colours back in the early 90s. My first ever 700c bike was a Mistral, it was green, white and magenta (pink). It turned heads.

This bike was for sale earlier this year. I should of bought it, but didn't feel like driving the 3 hours round trip for it. I wouldn't call it a favorite, but it is crazy:.
I do think it was a respray though.

I’m just glad we’ve gotten away from the white, red, and black that was so ubiquitous around 2010-2015, you’d think it was legally mandated. Slightly less stale is the matte or satin black on black on black that came along for the next few years.
I like most of what they’re doing today. My favorite was 1990s Klein day-glo colors and especially their two- or three-color fades.

Dunno if it's a "crazy" color, but I'd love to have a pink Monster Cross.

I like color. What I think is crazy is those bikes that are blah muted colors that don't stand out.
